About: I serve as Vice President of the European Philosophy of Science Association and editor-in-chief for the journal History and Philosophy of the Life Sciences, and I sit on the executive boards of the Society for the Philosophy of Science in Practice, the plant community GARNet and various other projects, societies and committees. I have a strong interest in science policy and worked as advisor to national and international bodies, most notably the European Commission. I am an alumna of the Global Young Academy (2012-2016), where I led the Open Science working group and coordinated the Research Environments theme. I served as senior co-Chair of the EPSA Womens Caucus. I am also involved in the co-ordination of the UK Network for Integrated History and Philosophy of Science and the European Advanced Seminar in the Philosophy of the Life Sciences.

About: As a neuroscience researcher turned programmer, I bring my attention to detail, problem solving skills, and love of learning to my projects.

During my PhD research, I found my love for coding by learning Python and R for data analysis and visualization. My PhD taught me to be a detail-oriented, persistent self-starter, which are skills I use daily. In my next role, I worked on integrating biological data from multiple species, learning about databases and APIs and building my first website. In my current role as a product manager, I am combining my science background with my technical abilities by teaching researchers how to use open source data tools and standards to make their data better managed.

Raman Ganguly - (Moderator) Technical director of Phaidra

About: Raman Ganguly earned his degree in Media Engineering at the St. Pölten University of Applied Science, and he is a Level C IPMA project manager. Before finishing his university degree, he worked as a software developer in different companies and headed web-development departments at two media agencies.

He became part of the team of the Computer Centre at the University of Vienna in 2008. Since 2011 one of his main focuses is the management and archiving of research and educational data. In this capacity he is responsible for designing the technical infrastructure of the data management ecosystem of the University and for the sustainable operation of the technical infrastructure for long-term data preservation. He is the technical director of the PHAIDRA digital asset management system for long-term preservation. PHAIDRA is currently used by the University of Vienna and 21 institutions throughout Europe.
