Dr. Stefan Hanslik leads the Technical Science Unit at Austria’s Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. With a Ph.D. in Biology/Genetics, he serves as the Chair of the e-Infrastructure Reflection Group (e-IRG) and holds numerous roles representing Austria, including as a delegate on committees like Research Infrastructures, EuroHPC, Euratom, OECD, ESRF, the EOSC Steering Board and ERIC. Additionally, he is an expert on the Strategic Configuration of the Horizon 2020 Program Committee, a member of the ERC-FET-MSCA Programme Committee, ESFRI-EOSC Task Force and a National Contact Point for the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission's Science and Knowledge Service, contributing widely to international science policy and infrastructure initiatives.
