The University offers comprehensive information on accessibility of buildings and rooms, keys for accessible toilets, tactile paving, accessible parking etc. on a dedicated website that is currently only available in German.
The public transport network Wiener Linien has a dedicated page on accessible mobility.
If you need barrier-free accommodation, the Vienna Tourist Board offers specialised information on their website, via chat, phone, and email.
You can still submit proposals for a presentation at PHAIDRAcon'26! For more information, see also the Call for Contributions.
Is there a deadline?
We ask you to kindly submit your proposals until August 16, 2026. Please include the following information in your proposal:
- Title of the presentation,
- a short abstract (around 100-150 words),
- a short bio of the speaker, preferably 2-3 sentences,
- and a photo.
How will you know if your submission was accepted?
If you submitted directly via the website, we will be happy to contact you to inform you whether the proposal was accepted and about the next steps.
For PHAIDRAcon'26, we chose a catering company that offers an omnivorous menu based on various criteria, such as proximity, previous experience, and selection.
In the future, in accordance with the University of Vienna's guidelines and in terms of sustainability, we intend to switch to a purely vegetarian/vegan menu.

Please note that there will be no staffed coat check at the event. You are welcome to bring your bags and suitcases into the venue.
Enter the building from the Türkenstraße entrance and turn left towards the stairwell. There are three elevators on your right in the stairwell. Take one of them to the top floor. Exit the elevator.
The event is planned as an on-site event. However, all talks will be recorded and published via the PHAIDRAcon website and the PHAIDRA YouTube channel afterwards. Slides will be uploaded to and made public via PHAIDRA.
The event will be advertised and covered via our LinkedIn channel and presentations will be made available via the PHAIDRAcon website and the PHAIDRA YouTube channel afterwards.
We welcome posting about the event on social media under the hashtag #PHAIDRAcon26.

We generally strive to host PHAIDRAcon at locations that allow us to organize our events in a sustainable, accessible and socially responsible manner.
We encourage you to choose a climate-friendly way of travelling to the event, such as public transport or cycling. As a general rule, our venues are accessible and can be reached on foot within a few minutes from nearby public transport stops.
This year's venue is a University building at Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz 1, which houses the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Mathematics. The 1960s building contains numerous modern lecture halls, seminar rooms, and computer labs, as well as a library, lounges and communication zones, and a cafeteria with a dining hall.
PHAIDRAcon'26 will specifically take place in the "Sky Lounge" event space on the 12th floor, complete with a rooftop terrace offering panoramic views of the city of Vienna, the surrounding countryside, and the Danube Canal recreational area.
